Looking to install your APEX Conversion Kit? This video will guide you through the entire process, step by step. Follow along to ensure a smooth and successful installation.
Step-by-Step Installation Instructions:
- Safety First: Remove the magazine and check to make sure the firearm is clear and safe.
- Prepare the Slide: Pull the slide rearward approximately 0.25 inches and hold. Release the slide forward and release the slide lock.
- Remove the Slide: Pull the slide forward off the gun.
- Remove the Barrel: Remove the recoil spring, then remove the barrel.
- Install the APEX Barrel: Replace the original barrel with the MetaTactical 16-inch barrel.
- Reinstall the Slide: Reinstall the slide onto the gun by sliding it from the front of the gun to the rear. Ensure the frame rails are engaged with the slide walls.
- Prepare the Chassis: Press the button and open the rear door of the chassis.
- Insert the Gun: Insert the gun into the chassis.
- Secure the Chassis: Close the rear door until the button clicks securely.
- Insert the Firing Pin: Push the firing pin into the chassis.
- Attach the Compensator: Screw on the compensator clockwise onto the barrel.
- Ready to Go: Pull the slide back using the charging handle, and your APEX Conversion Kit is installed and ready for use!
